In this course there is an advanced study of rules of conduct in international affairs, and a more focused examination of important contemporary issues in which the rules are still developing or are highly debatable. in addition, issues of special importance to Tanzania, such as the law of the sea, state responsibility, etc, are examined. substantive topics include the law of the sea, state responsibility, international humanitarian law, settlement of international disputes and universal jurisdiction and international trials.
