  Course aim

The main purpose of this course is to provide a specialized theoretical and practical understanding on concepts in programs development as well as the processes in designing, implementing, and evaluating programs with an emphasis on professional development programs. The course addresses theories and issues associated with developing educational programs and practices in various educational contexts. The course will also provide an opportunity for students to develop, monitor, and evaluate the educational programmes

Expected Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course, students are expected to have ability to:

1.        Demonstrate understanding of concepts in educational programme development;

2.        Design educational programme designs and the implications in particular contexts;

3.        Design and evaluate professional development programme;

4.        Effectively coordinate implementation of training programme in education; and

5.        Develop competence in monitoring and evaluation of educational programmes.
